Cultivar: Yabukita

Stone-milled from first harvest roasted tea leaves, our hojicha powder is made from lightly roasted hojicha with precise temperature control to preserve the tea's true aroma.

FROM FURUKAWA SEICHA

Matcha II

Uji, Kyoto, Japan

From the Gokasho district in Uji City. The family owned farm adopts traditional methods of shading and 自然仕立て (shizen-shitate), allowing tea plants to grow in their natural form. Tencha here receives consistent recognition at national competitions.

Their approach is defined by single estate, single cultivar production, and only first flush leaves are harvested.

In pursuit of uncompromising standards, the farm is in the midst of constructing a dedicated facility adjacent to their fields to complete all refinement on-site.

Stone-milled Hojicha

Wazuka, Kyoto, Japan

Wazuka nestles within Kyoto's mountainous terrain, renowned for tea cultivation on mineral-rich slopes. This mountainous area provides a distinct day and night temperature difference, producing teas with rich aftertaste. With careful fertilization, the tea gains strong umami and depth of flavor.
